Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with daily activities, promoting their independence, and providing emotional support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Providing medication reminders and assisting with medication administration
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers
  • Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Engaging residents in social and recreational activities
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' health or behavior
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Building positive relationships with residents and their families

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about senior care and possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends and holidays
