Kimwell Nursing Home is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team. As a Behavioral Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our residents and ensuring their emotional and mental well-being. By utilizing your expertise in behavior analysis, you will develop personalized intervention plans and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to implement effective strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify behavioral concerns and formulate intervention plans
  • Implement behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide education and support to staff, residents, and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to assessments and interventions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCaBA) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working with geriatric populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
