Job Overview

As a Residential Youth Support Specialist at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and assistance to the youth residing within our facilities. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe and supportive environment for youth residents
  • Assisting with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and recreational programs
  • Monitoring and documenting behavior and progress
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and medical professionals
  • Implementing behavior management plans as directed
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to residents

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with youth, preferably in a residential or similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
