At Kimwell Nursing Home, we are currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about providing excellent care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their comfort. Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kimwell Nursing Home, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Providing support in mobility and transferring residents safely.
  • Ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for residents and maintaining their dignity.
  • Assisting with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Responding to residents' needs promptly and compassionately.

Requirements for the Position

To be eligible for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Florida.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a compassionate and caring nature.
  • Be able to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Be able to follow instructions and protocols accurately.
  • Prior experience in a geriatric care setting is preferred but not required.
