About the Occupational Therapist Job

As an Occupational Therapist at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in helping our residents regain and maintain their independence. Your primary focus will be assessing their physical and cognitive abilities, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic activities to improve their daily living skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate residents' functional abilities and limitations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions based on assessed needs
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as required
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Document and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions

Requirements:

  • Valid license to practice occupational therapy in Texas
