Roles and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care required
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Providing educational support and guidance to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Registered Nurse position, applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Kentucky
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of geriatric and aging care practices
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Display compassion, empathy, and patience in providing care to residents
