The Role of a Registered Dietitian

As a Registered Dietitian at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in promoting healthy living and well-balanced nutrition among our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of residents' nutritional needs
  • Developing personalized diet plans based on individual requirements
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the diet plans
  • Providing guidance and education to residents, families, and staff regarding proper nutrition
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition

Requirements

To be considered for the Registered Dietitian position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Valid Registered Dietitian license in the state of Massachusetts
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
  3. Proven experience in providing dietary care in a healthcare setting
  4. Strong knowledge of geriatric nutrition and related health conditions
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and independently
