Job Responsibilities

As a Bi-Lingual Family Support Specialist at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents and their families receive the support they need during challenging times. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and identifying the emotional, psychological, and social needs of residents and their families.
  • Providing counseling and guidance to help family members understand and navigate the aging process.

  • Documenting assessments, interventions, and progress notes.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and another language (Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic preferred).
  • Experience in providing counseling and support to individuals and families.
  • Knowledge of geriatric care, aging processes, and community resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
