Job Overview

Kimwell Nursing Home is currently looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals in Cottonwood, AZ, US. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to the senior residents in our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medication and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Support residents in maintaining their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are met.
  • Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
  • Provide transportation for medical appointments and other outings as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare or geriatric care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
