The Role of a TAY Peer Partner

As a TAY Peer Partner at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering our transitional age youth residents. Your primary responsibility will be to establish strong, trusting relationships with the individuals you work with, serving as a mentor and advocate. You will provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support to help them navigate challenges and develop essential life skills.

Working closely with our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care plans. With a deep understanding of the unique needs of transitional age youth, you will help create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and positive change.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, we are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A genuine passion for helping individuals in need
  • Experience working with transitional age youth or in a similar caregiving role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and establish rapport with residents
