Caregiver Responsibilities

As a caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the well-being of our residents. These include:

  • Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide personalized care plans
  • Supporting residents in participating in recreational activities
  • Documenting resident care and observations accurately

Qualifications and Skills
