Job Description

As a Facilities Housekeeper at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and sanitary living environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in common areas, residents' rooms, and other facilities within the nursing home premises.

Responsibilities

  • Performing routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Sanitizing surfaces and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of infections
  • Collecting and disposing of waste and recyclables in designated areas
  • Restocking supplies in restrooms and common areas
  • Coordinating with other staff members to ensure a well-maintained facility
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial work
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and chemicals
