Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As an LPN at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assessing and monitoring patients' health conditions
  • Collaborating with physicians and registered nurses to develop individualized care plans
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitoring vital signs and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents

Qualifications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position

In order to be considered for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Kimwell Nursing Home, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota
  2. Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
  3. Strong knowledge of geriatric and aging care
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
