About the Position

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

  • Administer medications according to prescribed schedules, documenting any changes or concerns.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate medical staff.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role or a background in healthcare is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications or training is a plus.
