Job Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medications and monitor residents' vital signs
  • Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and organized living space for residents
  • Accompany residents to medical appointments and assist with transportation
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' behavior or health conditions to the nursing staff
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans

Qualifications

As a Caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, we require the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
