About the Role

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing the unique needs of our elderly residents. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized intervention plans to foster their overall well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify residents' strengths, challenges, and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized intervention plans.
  • Implementing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to support residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' progress, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to residents, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a similar role, preferably in a geriatric or aging care setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of early intervention strategies and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Empathy, compassion, and patience to provide exceptional care to our elderly residents.
