Join Our Team as a Caregiver for our Adult Day Program

At Kimwell Nursing Home, we are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers for our Adult Day Program. This program is designed to provide support and assistance to older adults who are living in the community but require daily care and supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs and health-related information
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Engage clients in meaningful and stimulating activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with older adults preferred
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
