About the Position

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, assisting our licensed Occupational Therapists in providing comprehensive care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing treatment plans designed by Occupational Therapists
  • Assisting residents in performing therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Providing support during adaptive equipment and device usage
  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals

Requirements

To be considered for the Occupational Therapist Assistant position at Kimwell Nursing Home, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of geriatric care and rehabilitation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
