Your Role as a Licensed Practical Nurse

As an integral part of our healthcare team, your primary responsibility as a Licensed Practical Nurse will be to provide skilled nursing care in a professional and compassionate manner. You will work closely with our team of physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for our residents.

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the medical team
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Performing diagnostic tests and collecting specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Hold a valid LPN license in the state of Kentucky
  • Completed a recognized nursing program and obtained a diploma or degree

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
