Join Our Transportation Driver Team

Are you passionate about serving others and providing safe transportation? Kimwell Nursing Home is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our transportation driver team. As a transportation driver, you will play a crucial role in helping our residents maintain their independence and access various services and activities in the community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Transport residents to and from medical appointments, social events, and other scheduled outings
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transportation
  • Maintain communication with our scheduling department to coordinate transportation requests
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, as needed
  • Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience as a transportation driver, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
  • Excellent knowledge of local roads and transportation routes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in various driving conditions
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
