The Role of an Area Director

As the Area Director at Kimwell Nursing Home in Grand Forks, ND, US, you will be an integral part of our management team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead a team of professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are consistently met. You will play a crucial role in implementing strategic initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to facility administrators and department heads
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize resident care
  • Monitor and evaluate quality indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to maximize resident satisfaction
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in healthcare management, preferably in geriatric and aging care
  • Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
