Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for residents
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Monitoring vital signs and responding to any changes in health status
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans
  • Supervising and mentoring Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines

Qualifications

To be considered for the Registered Nurse position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric setting
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work day, evening, and night shifts
