At Kimwell Nursing Home, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to lead and manage our comprehensive geriatric care programs in Duluth, MN, US. As the Program Director, you will play a vital role in developing and overseeing the implementation of various programs aimed at promoting the well-being and quality of life of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative and person-centered programs tailored to meet the unique needs of our aging population
  • Oversee and lead a team of dedicated professionals, including program coordinators and support staff
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and community resources to ensure residents receive the highest level of care
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to meet changing resident needs
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and care plans
  • Provide ongoing training and support to program staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Health Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in program development and management within a geriatric care setting
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing geriatric care programs
  • Proficient in using relevant software applications and electronic medical records
