About the Role
As a Behavioral Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing, analyzing, and developing behavior management plans for our residents. Your expertise in behavioral analysis will contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for individuals with complex needs.
In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to implement individualized interventions that address behavioral challenges. Your keen observation skills and ability to interpret data will allow you to make informed decisions to optimize resident care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' behavioral patterns and challenges
- Develop behavior management plans tailored to each resident's specific needs
- Implement and monitor interventions to address behavioral issues
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Provide education and training to staff and family members on behavioral strategies
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in behavioral analysis
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Prior experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, preferably in a geriatric care setting
