Join Our Team as an Intensive Outpatient Therapist

Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their lives? If so, Kimwell Nursing Home is looking for a skilled and compassionate Intensive Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Springfield, MA, US.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' mental health conditions and treatment needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to patients in the outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Evaluate and document patients' progress regularly
  • Offer support and guidance to patients' families and caregivers
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of geriatric and aging care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensure as a therapist in the state of Massachusetts
  • Proven experience in providing therapy to geriatric patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Empathy, patience, and understanding
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands
