Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitoring and assessing patients' condition and reporting any changes
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

To be considered for the Licensed Practical Nurse position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Prior experience in a geriatric or long-term care setting is preferred
