The Role of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As an LPN at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and monitoring the health status of residents
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and meal assistance
  • Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Documenting residents' health progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric care practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
