Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional

As a Direct Support Professional at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Some of your key duties will include:

  1. Assisting residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  2. Providing medication reminders and ensuring medication schedules are followed
  3. Assisting with meal planning and preparation
  4. Engaging residents in social and recreational activities
  5. Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' physical or mental health
  6. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans

Qualifications and Requirements
