About the Licensed Practical Nurse Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in providing nursing care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care plans, administer medication, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Document patient progress and communicate any changes to the appropriate personnel
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia
  • Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
