Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and medications.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs and activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents in maintaining their independence and achieving their goals.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for residents at all times.
  • Document resident progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in geriatric care or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  • Excellent communication and observation skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion for the elderly.
  • Responsible and reliable work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid are desirable.
