Responsibilities of a Caregiver

As a caregiver at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care, such as bathing and dressing
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
  • Administering medications as prescribed
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers
  • Supporting residents in maintaining their independence and dignity
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities

Requirements

To be considered for a caregiver position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and compassion for elderly individuals
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Valid certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Pass a background check and drug screening
