Job Description and Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and assisting residents with their daily activities. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting any changes in residents' health
  • Administering medication under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assisting with meal planning and preparation, considering dietary restrictions
  • Communicating effectively with the healthcare team and maintaining accurate records

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Active certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Texas
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in a long-term care facility or similar setting
