Join our Team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our residents. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement the individualized care plans, ensuring the highest quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor the well-being of residents, including vital signs and health status
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Document residents' progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas
  • Previous experience in geriatric and aging care is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
