Job Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Therapist Intern at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our residents, providing support and therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the individual needs of residents and developing personalized treatment plans
  • Conducting therapy sessions and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of therapy interventions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Providing education and guidance to residents and their families
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all therapy sessions and progress

Qualifications

To be considered for the Outpatient Therapist Intern position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Strong passion for working with geriatric populations
