Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Responsibilities

As a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst at Kimwell Nursing Home, your primary responsibility will be to assess and develop behavioral plans for our residents. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to observe, collect data, and analyze behavioral patterns. Your expertise will be crucial in developing individualized programs to improve quality of life and provide behavioral support to our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating resident behavior through direct observation and data collection.
  • Designing and implementing individualized behavior support plans.
  • Monitoring and documenting interventions and progress.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Providing training and support to staff and caregivers.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and understanding of behavioral analysis principles.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Show a strong commitment to person-centered care and resident advocacy.
  • Experience in geriatric and aging care is preferred but not required.
