Join Our Team as a Dietary & Food Aide

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of seniors? Do you have a knack for creating delicious and nutritious meals? Kimwell Nursing Home is currently seeking a dedicated Dietary & Food Aide to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, following specific dietary guidelines
  • Ensure meals are presented in an appetizing and visually appealing manner
  • Monitor portion control and food temperatures to maintain quality and safety
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to create menus that cater to individual dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing any dietary concerns or inquiries

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or related field
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Certification in food handling and safety is preferred
