Responsibilities

As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health status
  • Administering medications and following prescribed treatment plans
  • Supporting residents' social and emotional needs
  • Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Compassion and empathy for seniors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Certification as a Direct Support Professional preferred
