Job Description

As a Physical Therapist at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and mobility of our residents. You will be responsible for assessing their physical abilities, designing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic activities to improve their overall functionality and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents' physical conditions
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and balance
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Educate residents and their families on proper techniques for injury prevention and self-care

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kentucky
  • Proven experience in geriatric care and rehabilitation
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for providing compassionate care to older adults
