About the Role

As a Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safety and functionality of our physical environment.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, and HVAC systems.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
  • Coordinating with external contractors for major repairs or installations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Assisting with facility renovations and upgrades.

We are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other members of the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living facility.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
