Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily activities and promoting their overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing medication reminders and assistance
  • Assisting with meal planning and preparation
  • Engaging residents in social and recreational activities
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' physical or mental health

Qualifications and Requirements
