Job Description

As a Mental Health Therapist Intern at Kimwell Nursing Home in Dayton, OH, US, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with their mental health needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for residents with mental health concerns
  • Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each resident's needs
  • Assess residents' progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to treatment
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's program in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or similar field
