About the Residential Supervisor Position

As the Residential Supervisor at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. You will oversee a team of dedicated caregivers, assisting and guiding them in delivering personalized services to meet the unique needs of each individual under our care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, ensuring proper staffing levels and adherence to established protocols
  • Develop and implement care plans based on individual assessments and resident preferences
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to caregivers, fostering a positive work environment
  • Monitor resident health and well-being, proactively addressing any changes or concerns
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary care and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care and progress

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare or senior care setting
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric care practices and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Valid state-issued license or certification, as required
