The Role of Accounts Payable Specialist

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily reconciliations of vendor invoices and purchase orders
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals
  • Processing payments to vendors within set deadlines
  • Resolving any discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments
  • Assisting with month-end closing activities
