Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to our geriatric and aging residents
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and vital signs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and facility policies
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
  • Handle emergencies and provide timely interventions
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families

Qualifications

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of West Virginia, US
  • Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care settings
  • Knowledge of nursing best practices and standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
