Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to our residents. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring vital signs and other health indicators
  • Assessing residents' physical and mental health status
  • Assisting with activities of daily living
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Kimwell Nursing Home, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid LPN license in the state of Kentucky
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in geriatric or long-term care
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
