Job Description

As a Life Skills Trainer at Kimwell Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Supporting residents in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Engaging residents in recreational activities and social programs
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team

We value individuals who possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare training is preferred.
