Join Our Team as a Behavior Management Therapist

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals? Do you have a background in behavior management and therapy? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Behavior Management Therapist at Kimwell Nursing Home.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior management plans for residents
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to address challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide support and training to staff members on behavior management techniques
  • Monitor the progress of residents and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation of therapy sessions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Previous experience working with elderly individuals
  • Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Valid license/certification in behavior management or a related field (preferred)
