Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal assistance.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and document residents' vital signs, behavior, and overall health status.
  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Engage with residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of our residents.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
  • Medication administration certification (desired, but not required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Valid certification in state-approved nursing assistant training program (required).
