  • Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring health conditions
  • Engaging residents in recreational and social activities
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate records of residents' progress and behavior
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Offering emotional support and companionship to residents

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Direct Support Professional at Kimwell Nursing Home, you should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar role or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy and compassion towards elderly individuals
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
