Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional

As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Providing medication reminders and ensuring medication compliance
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers
  • Supporting residents' emotional well-being through companionship and active engagement
  • Creating and implementing personalized care plans
  • Documenting and reporting any changes in residents' behavior or health status
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
  • Ensuring a safe and clean living environment for residents

Qualifications and Requirements
